Hastings Women's Film Festival
Sunday 6th March 2pm at https://www.kino-teatr.co.uk/ there will be quite a buzz, as 12 female film makers across the South East screen their shorts at the stylish Kino Teatr in St Leonards On Sea. HWFF was set up and produced by Lisa Harmer in March 2020 , just before lockdown, the first event proved a great success, and now seems the time to revisit the idea. The event has grown and with sponsorship from Amy Walker at MEDIA PARENTS in association with Olga Mamonova at the Kino, the festival provides a platform for film makers, like Lisa, to promote their work in front of a live audience at last! The event also includes a Q&A with special guest Jane Featherstone , Chief Creative Officer at SISTER , interviewed by Amy Walker. Lisa's second film Pebbles has its premier in the festival which includes 8 women in the cast and most of the crew were women, except the director / DOP
