WRITING
Lisa enjoys writing and developing ideas for both theatre and film. She mainly produces dark comedy pieces that cover a plethora of social issues and intensive story telling, with an edge and well received humour. She collaborates with other writers and develops ideas using improvisation and devising skills, that she has honed over the years. Credits include "Lady What Does", "Challenge" for film, "Slippage", "Price on Application" and "The Velvet Glove" for theatre and live performance

PRICE ON APPLICATION
Vacant , ready to complete. This site specific promenade theatre piece was inspired by visiting a local house in St Leonard's On sea, that had opened up its doors to artists to exhibit. The owners generously allowed me and the director to create a unique theatre experience. I had the idea that the structure of the piece could be around the sale of a house - with an estate agent character taking the audience as 'prospective buyers' on an open house tour; with a dark tale unravelling on route.
I was lucky to find a real story that had connections to Hastings that was too good to be true, involving murder, deceit, historical references.
Dialogue is excellent throughout and, whilst there must be a certain level of improvisation, good writing clearly shines through. The plot stretches its wings to cover numerous cultural and historical references layered with comedy and horror, whilst never losing the viewers in unnecessary complication or forgetting the core purpose. This is particularly impressive, or perhaps absolutely vital in an interactive performance.

Lisa is a writer, actor and producer of Dinner Thrillers, a new concept in site-specific murder mystery events.
